**Heart of Wellness Workouts (Zookinesis)

Everyone is welcome to join our workouts.
Zookinesis is a mild exercise designed to bring youthful vitality back to the body. This program works on all parts of the body, restoring muscle tone and strength, joint strength and flexibility as well as improved breathing and concentration.  

Stirring the Inkwell

Develop, explore and celebrate your literary gifts with a monthly creative writing workshop.  This group is safe, fun, and no writing experience is necessary.  All supplies are provided but you are welcome to bring a favourite pen and notebook.  Laptops are welcome.
This group is not a critique group.  You do not have to share your work.  The group meets the first Wednesday of each month.

Edmonton Art Club
The Devon Public Library is thrilled to host a showing of the many talented artists in our region.    The art will be on display during library hours (when the program room is not in use) until May 8.

Author Visit : Jo Ann Creore

You won't want to miss this rare opportunity to learn about a life of adventure.  At the age of 80, writer, mountaineer, adventure addict, and last but not least, professor emeritus at he University of Alberta,  Jo Ann Creore has climbed, backpacked and explored remote areas on 5 continents, however it is the landscape of the Canadian Rockies and Arctic that inspire her novels.  While the main purpose of a mystery novel is to entertain with a well-crafted plot, she also wants readers to understand what it is like to face a grizzly bear, hear the long, beautiful song of a winter wren, view the world from a mountain top and really understand what it is like to walk in the wild.
Jo Ann has published two novels : Frozen in Death and Three to Die.

Dot to Dot in the Sky with Joan Marie Galat
Tuesday, May 23 : 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Joan introduces the wonders of the night sky using storytelling to share ancient myths, inerspersed with astronomy facts.  Discover how to locate constellations, tell the difference between stars and planets, and find out how black holes and supernovas occur.
