Devon Public Library is a member of Yellowhead Regional Library. Devon Public Library is also a member of The Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC) and of The Alberta Library (TAL). Our participation in The Alberta Library gives our patrons access to 15 million items in over 230 Alberta libraries.

Residents of Devon and the surrounding area may acquire a borrower’s card for a fee. Your borrower’s card is also your Alberta Library (TAL) card. This means that as a member of Devon Public Library, you may borrow and return books at any Alberta Library.

If you lose your library card please contact the library immediately to avoid the unauthorized use of your library card. There is a replacement charge for lost cards. If you move or change your phone number please notify us as soon as possible in order to keep your file up to date.

To sign out items from our library, you must have your card present. The Devon Public Library is a CAP site (Community Access Program) which provides affordable internet access to Canadians and helps provide skills needed to use it effectively. At present the library has 4 public stations funded by this initiative. These stations are available for public use during library hours free of charge, but a internet policy form must be signed by each user, or guardian if the user is under 18 years of age. There is a printing fee of $.50 per page.
