Community Scrap Quilt

The Community Scrap Quilt's goal is to use up the scrap fabric you have kicking around and turn these scraps into something beautiful. Last year's scrap quilt is currently on display in the library, this year we are working on a new design which you can find details on in the following video:

Follow the instructions on the YouTube video with your own scraps (or visit us if you need some) BUT make your square 4 inches instead of the size in the video. You can make as many squares as you like. This is great project for beginner sewers as you only have to sew straight lines.

This is a project to work on at your own home and if you don’t have a sewing machine the library has one you can borrow. At the Craft Here or There program on December 13 12:30pm, we will gather and organize all the squares.

Have questions or get stuck? Drop in Wednesday afternoons 12-2 and chat with Holly.
