The Friends of the Devon Library Association are holding their 2nd Annual Fun Run to raise funds and community awareness for the Devon Public Library. Funds raised financially support special library projects, programming and increase the library collection, as well as provide any financial assistance to the Town for the expansion, improvement, or replacement of the current library.
The Run will be distances of approximately 1k (kids under 12), 2.5k and 5k utilizing trails and paths along the beautiful river valley in Voyageur Park. With the exception of a few hills, the Friends are keeping the "fun" in Fun Run.
For this year's event, the Friends are excited to be able to award prizes for individual fundraising efforts.
Participants who raise a minimum of $50 will have their name entered into a draw for one of the following prizes (more prizes to be added), which have been generously donated: A Family 10-Punch Pass to the Devon Pool (Town of Devon).
Ask your family & friends to donate, through your registration, and you could win! The cut-off for entries will be May 24th at 10:00 p.m. The draws will take place at the completion of the event.
Deadline to register for the Run is May 22nd.
Register by May 8th to receive a free Run t-shirt! T-Shirts will not be available to purchase on the day of the Run.
